Large-scale Ecosystem-based Adaptation in the Gambia: Developing a Climate-resilient, Natural Resource-based Economy (EbA Project) is the country’s largest adaptation project that aims to develop a sustainable natural resource-based economy, promote livelihood strategies and cushion communities form climate change impacts. It is a 6-year project (2017-2023) implemented by the Government of Gambia through the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources, through Departments of Forestry, Agriculture, Community Development and Parks and Wildlife Management, with technical support of World Agroforestry (ICRAF);funded by Green Climate Fund (GCF) and support from United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as the fund’s accredited entity.
